The Positive Coaching Scotland (PCS) programme is about creating a positive environment in youth sport - one which focuses on encouraging effort and learning, improving performance and fostering competition. This focus helps young people to understand the importance of effort rather than winning at all costs.
The programme involves key influencers in a young person's life and below you should be able to find information whether you are a coach, teacher, parent or club leader of young people in sport.
Positive Coaching Scotland is delivered by sportscotland in partnership with Winning Scotland Foundation and local and national partners.
For more information on the PCS programme, visit the PCS pages on the sportscotland web-site.
Locally, there is a pool of tutors available to deliver the following workshops:
Leisure & Culture Dundee and Dundee City Council Active Schools will be working together to implement a cluster-based PCS programme in Dundee from October 2013 - March 2015.
